At Gym & Jab, we’re changing that. Our workouts combine boxing and strength training to help you build both physical and mental strength whilst actually enjoy your fitness routine.
We offer three types of classes so there’s something for everyone:

FOUNDERS STORY
Gym and Jab was co-founded by husband and wife, Waleed and Holly, who run The Trainers, a mobile personal training company in Claygate. After helping hundreds of clients locally, they dreamed of creating a space that would bring people together in a supportive, community-driven environment.
When they discovered the perfect property in Esher, they took a leap of faith. Just 7 weeks after receiving the keys, Gym and Jab's doors opened.
Their mission is simple: to make fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone with a unique mix of boxing and weight training, helping all clients feel supported and empowered.
The Story Behind the Name
Gym & Jab represents balance.
The “Gym” stands for strength, structure, and control: lifting, conditioning, building resilience.
The “Jab” captures energy, focus, and discipline: the art and mindset of boxing and martial arts.
Together, they symbolise our approach: strength and skill, power and precision, mind and body working in harmony.

Strength Circuits are coach-led, small-group sessions built around progressive strength training.

Martial Arts Skill Classes
Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai sessions led by real fighters and experienced martial artists.
These classes focus on technique, timing, and skill, ideal for those who want to refine their craft or learn authentic combat disciplines.
